I took a break from public blogging, but am back. I have missed it, so let's just jump right in.
One of the biggest questions military families ask themselves is "how involved should I be with my home." There are usually just polar opposite answers: 1. I don't want to do anything that is too time intensive, we are moving anyways OR 2. I want to make this home MINE, even if I am here for a short time.
We have moved 5 times in less than 9 years. So I have asked myself this question over and over again.
Paint should be easy, right?
Almost after 2 years of living in this home, less than one year before we will move again, I have finally painted the G & C's room. And hey, since it's only going to be for a year, I might as well go all out, right?
I gave the task to Hubby, but his schedule was a bit haphazard, and I decided to undertake the project myself. Armed with not enough paint, very little patience, but with so much good intention, I painted each wall a different color.
Hubby's first response: I like it hon
His second:I envision many hours of priming before we move.
His third: Babe, did you even tape?
My standard answer: It was done with love.
