Imagine this, but with more testosterone

I was asked by my baby brother to knit him a pair of wristwarmers.  He saw the pair I made my mother for Christmas and he wanted a pair, but in black.

I was thrilled!  My own baby brother actually believes in my knitting skills!  Here I am, aimlessly plodding along trying to figure out patterns and keeping consistent in my stitches and someone actually wants to use something I knit.  For while I have knit many gifted items for others, it is an honor when someone actually requests it.

So I got crackin...

And I finished quite quickly :)

Pattern:  Basic Fingerless Mitts
Yarn: Knit Picks Superwash Merino DK - my first time to use this yarn
Needles: sz 5 dpns

Now, you will have to imagine these wristwarmers with more testosterone..because my baby brother is actually a 27- year-old Sergeant in the Air Force. 

(I'm still older, brother!  Don't you forget it!  Even if I am now the shortest in the family!)
